changes
the days have been getting shorter for me this past week. i find myself starting to doze off at 9+ at night, so i go to sleep around 10:30 - about an hour earlier than i normally do. i have been sleeping this early since secondary or poly school days. hm.. i guess months of waking up at 6+ in the morning to go to work does get to you after a while. hehe.. which reminds me: come end of this month, it would be a full 9 months since i started working. geez.. where did the time go?
the Berlin Wall in the office has been torn down. East and West Germanies are now united! lol.. which means no more takingnaps power breaks in my snug little corner of the lab. sob.. maybe that's the reason why i feel more tired at night nowadays lah. haha..
but more changes are coming: with the recent *ahem* clearing up of New Year goodies around the house, gained more weight and i'm now.. obese! not by a lot, just a little bit - but it means one thing: time to get off my lazy butt and lose all that weight i've been putting on! alrite, desperate times call for desperate measures. one good thing about sleeping earlier is that i wake up feeling more refreshed in the mornings. seriously considering joining SH at the SAFRA gym in the mornings before work. but i'll have to pay for 6 months worth of gym subscription up front which means it's a 6 month commitment. well, i guess it would be easier with a workout buddy. at least he should be sufficently motivated - he's getting married at the end of the year afterall, and wants to look good for the wedding.
on another totally different note, Valentine's/Friendship Day seems to be really big with the pervies in the office. received a grey piggy seat cushion from Rachel and KH and a bear handphone strap from NQ and CY. thinking of whether to buy them something in return.... nah, too lazy to go shop for presents. haha.. :p well, maybe write them some nice cards lah - assuming i can find some nice cards without any hearts or lovey dovey messages. lol.. time to get into affirmation-writing mode..
